ArtSystem
lecture series posters / identity
Art System was a lecture series at Utah State University that was sponsored by The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and focused on the overlap between the arts and the sciences. The project entailed the design of a flexible brand identity system that shifted slightly depending on the particular application which gave each visiting artist/scientist a unique mark within the system. The project also commissioned the design of six 19"x30" posters to accompany the event along with a custom foldout takeaway piece.

The poster series was featured in the UCDA design exhibition in Orlando, Florida and received a Gold Award & Judges Award and are now part of the UDCA's permanent design collection.

This project was a collaboration between AKG's Mike Daines and Nick Kuder who is Assistant Professor and Director of the Design Center at Frostic School of Art at Western Michigan University.
